Generative Flora
The Sokaris X ABco interactive LED screen tunnel features a lush procedurally generated flora environment that comes alive as you explore. The installation is located in North America’s largest mall, West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Canada, which receives over 30 million visitors each year.
Powered by Touchdesigner, LiDAR, and custom GLSL shaders, the hi-res multimillion polygon visuals dynamically responds to visitors’ movements, creating an immersive and interactive experience.
The LED screen tunnel also features real time generative image/logo display, which grows the image within the flowers using the shapes and colours of the provided image.
Sokaris sourced the LED screen wall, installed and programmed the panels, and created the interactive content.
